NEW OFFICIAL FORUM SOON AVAILABLE!

After disowning our ex-official fanclub Ashes, we have been informed about many fans willing not to have any official fanclub anymore, but equally not willing to renounce to having a forum.

Since we respect our fans' claim in having a friendly "virtual" place where to speak about our music and other related topics, we are willing to satisfy it.

But we are absolutely not willing to officially endorse any forum which could be out of our control i.e. whose contents may be neither completely reliable nor confirmed by us.

This is the main reason why we decided to create a new forum that will be soon directly linked to our official website www.thefrozenautumn.com.

We are now dealing with the technical details to put this project into practice, and as soon as the best technical solution will be found, the forum will be there and you all will be welcome to be an active part of it.

Before any possible misunderstanding might stir up any further debate, we shall announce since now that the moderator for this official forum is a beloved friend of ours called Sergio Bersanetti a.k.a. Sir Joe.

We have chosen him because we have been knowing each other very well since 1997, he knows our music perfectly, is a very good musician and a promising producer himself, and together with Giorgio Minale was one of the coordinators of the first Depeche Mode Italian official fan club back in 1982, which tells a lot about his experience in coping with fans.

Apart from being as trustworthy as our respective right arms and from all the aforementioned, he owns in our opinion all of the features to be the perfect moderator: diplomatic attitude, respectful good-tempered personality, excellent language skills, and an enthousiasm which is no desire to be in the limelight.

We thank him since now for charging himself with this not easy task and we kindly request all of our beloved fans and friends who will post in this forthcoming forum to respect him as they would respect us.

This forum will be also meant to answer all FAQ about The Frozen Autumn such as those regarding our albums availability, our nextcoming gigs and so on, to which we cannot answer directly.

Moreover, since this short FC Ashes debate experience has taught us a lot and taken up lots of our time, we will create a small press office and entrust it to sort our e-mails and possibly re-direct them to the forum if necessary, so that all of our beloved fans from all over the world will then benefit of the most punctual answers and most complete information without being compelled to wait for us to find any spare time to reply.

More details soon!

ASHES: RISE AND FALL OF A COMMON DREAM.

Maybe we didn't make ourselves completely understood when we submitted our post about the end of Ashes.

So let's make some points clear for the sake of truth and for our common future tranquillity.

WE HAVEN'T CLOSED ASHES DOWN ITSELF, 'CAUSE THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO CLOSE DOWN ABOUT IT, SINCE IT HAS BEEN OFFLINE FOR MONTHS INDEPENDENTLY FROM OUR WILL. BUT IT CERTAINLY STOPS BEING OUR OFFICIAL FANCLUB AND SO ITS WEBSITE.

We decided not to endorse "Ashes" anymore after 7 months of non-existence, and this has NOT happened arbitrarily . It wasn't a decision we took overnight with a merry heart.

We tried to put ourselves in touch for months with Ashes administrator, who is a lovely girl (as you may read in our first post here) meant to coordinate the whole thing, especially the website. She was meant to be the only authorized counterpart to the band, the sole and only "legitimated" person in charge as far as the former official THE FROZEN AUTUMN fanclub called "Ashes" was concerned.

However, some dear friends of ours have just informed us, that the forum connected to "Ashes" is still active in spite of this, (even though with very few posts: which is obvious if you think that the main website has been offline for months).

As far as we knew, the administrator also had the task of moderating this forum, but, to our big surprise we have discovered that someone else is doing it.

Since we were not aware about the forum still existing, we didn't know it could be of any importance to anybody.

Well before announcing our decision publicly, we had already sent our explanations to the administrator, and communicated her via private e-mail our will not to endorse Ashes anymore: well before, which means at least 2 weeks before.

The administrator, who, we repeat, was the only person entitled to have any direct contact with us as far as "Ashes" was concerned, has been always provided with all the information she needed. She even had our personal msn contacts and even Froxeanne's mobile phone number so that we could never be out of reach for her.

After trying to get in touch with her for months, through e-mails and sms and myspace and common friends and God only knows what else, after being bombarded with questions by fans asking whether Ashes website domain was expired or something, after feeling the image damage this was causing us, the only choice we had left was OBVIOUSLY NOT TO ACKNOWLEDGE it as being anything official coming from us.

Maybe it is not clear that Ashes being offline is NOT our choice, but its administrator's, as Ashes is not TFA official website. WE CANNOT EVEN ACCESS ASHES WEBSITE TO EDIT IT, only the administrator can. So the reason why some people blame us for that, is beyond our comprehension.

As far as we are concerned, Ashes may also keep on "living" as a no-matter-what TFA fanclub, as we didn't impound its domain or anything: but NOT as our OFFICIAL fanclub, 'cause there's nothing looking like anything official there.

THE SAME HOLDS FOR ASHES FORUM (which, we repeat, we had no idea was still active). But we won't tolerate any abuse there. We have never talked about closing the forum board, because we DIDN'T EVEN KNOW it was there.

If an official forum is an important feature to our fans, we could also consider the possibility of including one in our official website for example, but we can't commit ourselves to do that immediately because we are now busy working on music. Just ASK. COMMUNICATE!

Maybe the role of a band in a fanclub is not clear. Maybe it is not clear that one band's primary duty is MAKING MUSIC. Someone says our website is not up-to-date. Maybe it's not. Well take a look at it. Take a look at the official MySpaces, there's everything you need to know, in our opinion. And if that should not be enough, you can get a direct answer from us, whenever we have the time. This is why we had a fanclub: to have someone who could constantly bridge the distance between us and ourbeloved fans. But if this someone disappears without leaving any trace, is that the BAND's fault perhaps? Maybe she had good reasons to do so, we don't feel like blaming her without listening to her point of you. But then please, don't blame us as well! ;-)

Peace and love, guys!

Avery good piece of news for all of our fans! the re-print of "fragments of memories" and "Visionary Landscapes" will be released within the end of june! Pre-order your copies now at: www.twilight-records.com.ar

"Ashes to Ashes": what was meant to be an official fan club for The Frozen Autumn has been not active since about six months ago, its website being offline during all this time with no apparent reason. We tried to get in touch several times with its administrator but we've never got any explanations nor replies.

Considering the fact we've just mentioned we've now to take a hard but necessary decision of closing "Ashes" down. This means that from now on we don't acknowledge "ashes" or any other organization and/or websites as our official fanclub.

NOVEMBER 2006

21st: Big changes are taking place in our lives, that's the main reason why we're a bit late again in updating our News. Our recent mini-tour in Russia was a total success (soon we'll add some photos). Our concert in Moscow was probably the best live experience we've had so far. Perfect organization, wonderful location, good sound engineers, great audience and an extremely warm welcome. In St.Petersburg too we had a good time, in spite of some delays and technical problems. We thus would like to thank the local organization, the team of goth.ru, and above all the main promoter Hellen and our guardian angel Alexandra, the bands and fetish performers supporting us and our wonderful Russian audience! Thank you so much for your warmth, for all of the presents and for being there for us! You really spoilt us! Hope to see you all soon! :)

In the meantime our South -American licensee Twilight Records has published Nekrodamus' album "A Brave Dawn" featuring Froxeanne as a guest-singer on the tracks "Burning Wild" and "Beyond The Starlight", but the whole album is, in our opinion, absolutely amazing.

Talking about Froxeanne again, she'll be unable to answer your e-mails as quickly as usual, at least for a while, as she's moving to Germany. She thanks you all in advance for your comprehension.

OCTOBER 2006

3rd: First of all, sorry for our long silence. We've been so busy in the last few months, that in the meantime we couldn't but neglect these webpages. Many things have happened: a long esclusive interview of ours appeared on the 7th issue of the beautiful Russian magazine Gothland (hey, we're on its front-cover!!!), new collaborations with various artists have been started or scheduled, etc. etc. and, above all, we've finally begun working on the long awaited TFA reprintings! We'll be more precise about this topic in our next updates though. For now just imagine us while frantically re-mastering, re-singing, re-everything on our synths and computers...

Last but not least, exactly today we've started sending our newsletter again after years. For those who haven't received it, well it's about our new live dates and also about Diego's next dj session taking place next Friday 6th October at Black Hole (for the second time) in Milan, Italy (a proposito, grazie ai dj residenti e allo staff del Black Hole e un ringraziamento tardivo ma sentito e un invito per questa occasione speciale ai tanti amici ed ascoltatori milanesi e non, che quasi un mese fa hanno ballato sulle tutt'altro che trite selezioni musicali di Diego, attenti solo a godere della bellezza delle canzoni in sè indipendentemente dal loro successo commerciale... ).Speak to you soon!

MAY 2006

OCTOBER 2005

1st: Here you can find an interesting online review in Italian for "Is Anybody There?".

SEPTEMBER 2005

29th: Seen some people's understandable tendency to misunderstand what a release party is, we feel compelled to give the following definition in order to avoid to unwillingly disappoint our beloved fans; a release party is a normal dj session where a local dj plays the tracks from a new album in order to present them to the audience of a club: it's absolutely NOT a live concert of the band whose album is presented. So please, don't expect to see us at any release parties for "Is Anybody There?" because it would be impossible for us to be there. In our specific case, all of our forthcoming live gigs are listed in our live info web page, which is obviously the official source of information about our concerts, kept constantly updated by us personally. Then, if you still have any doubt, don't hesitate to contact us: we're at our fans' disposal for every further explanation.

27th: "Is Anybody There?" will be released very soon also in Argentina by Twilight Records, always through Xymox Control, obviously.

22nd: Other release parties for "Is Anybody There?" have been scheduled: 30th September,Muziekcentrum Schaaf, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands (the place where we're going to play in November) and 1st October, Das Schiff, Basel, Switzerland.

18th: The German press has already positively welcomed "Is Anybody There?" with very good reviews. While here you can find an interesting online review in English.

12th: Today is the day!!! THE FROZEN AUTUMN's new album"Is Anybody There?"is fully available at: www.pandaimonium.de, order now!!!

9th:We're going to present our new tracks on stage for the first time near Florence in less than two months, more info here.

Yesterday we could finally lay our hands on our own personal copies of "Is Anybody There?"...They look gand fetish performersorgeous! Thanks to the manufacturers (Druckerei Arlt and Digicon) and to Stephan (Pandaimonium Records) who chose them! We remind you that our new album will be available for you as well in three days!

Two further different interviews to THE FROZEN AUTUMN will be published respectively on the forthcoming issues of the German print media Sonic Seducer and Gothic Magazine. Moreover, a new track by THE FROZEN AUTUMN, "Faceless Names", will be included in the free CD compilation attached to Orkus forthcoming issue, where, as you already know, an interview to us will appear too.

AUGUST 2005

22nd:An interview to THE FROZEN AUTUMN will appear on the German magazine Orkus (October issue, out on 20th September).

We' ve just been informed about the death of Robert Moog, the legendary analogue synthesizers designer whose wonderful instruments have given a priceless contribution to the development of electronic music all over the world. A big loss for all true synth lovers like us. Farewell, Bob, rest in peace.

15th:We'll present our new tracks on stage starting from November.

11th:All those interested in organizing a release party for THE FROZEN AUTUMN new album "Is Anybody There?" are kindly requested to contact our label boss at Pandaimonium Records. JUNE 2005

The first weekend of June was really special for us: we had a wonderful time in Athens, indeed. So we'd like to thank here everybody we met there, the people who came and watched us play live, the people taking us out for lunch and dinner and /or clubbing, everyone we met, and especially Tolis, who is probably one of the best concert organizers we've met so far! Everything was just so perfect, and you've been just so lovely to us all the time! This is what we call unforgettable! We hope to see you all again soon. We'll soon put on line some photos of our Athens gig.

For all those who are wondering what our new album will sound like: we've already written a short story of the composition of "Is Anybody There?" trying as well to describe it, and you can find it here.

MAY 2005

And now, the news everybody was waiting for...guess who signed us? Just read the following lines please, and your curiosity will be satisfied!

Pandaimonium Records and Xymox Control are proud to anounce the signing of italian cult band THE FROZEN AUTUMN! The new album "Is Anybody There?" (Pan -39) is already recorded and will be released in the fall of 2005."It took us almost two and a half years to finish this album" so Diego and Arianna of THE FROZEN AUTUMN, "it has been composed between December 2002 and April 2005, in two completely different places: Turin, our native town, an oppressive industrial maze suffocating the forgotten baroque vestiges of its ancient grandeur; and the Italian Northern shores of the Main Lake, an idyllic holiday resort where we moved one year ago, a place surrounded by amountain vegetation hiding a heart of marble and pink granite, reflected in deep green waters that rock a cradle of cameliae and rhododendron bushes" Stylistically "Is Anybody There?" moves between their critically acclaimed albums "Emotional Screening Device" and "Pale Awakening", but on the other hand "we feel it constitutes an absolutely new chapter in our artistic evolution". The album will also include remixes of their songs "Ashes" done by Clan Of Xymox' Ronny Moorings and "Polar Plateau" done by Dust Of Basement.

Between winter 2005 and spring 2006 THE FROZEN AUTUMNs previous albums

"Fragments Of Memories"

"Pale Awakening"

"Emotional Screening Device"

and

STATIC MOVEMENT "Visionary Landscapes"

will also be re-released by Pandaimonium/Xymox Control.

So, the only way to be constantly up-to-date about THE FROZEN AUTUMN is visiting this website!

OCTOBER 2003

Merchandizing news! THE FROZEN AUTUMN T-SHIRTS are finally available! You can get them directly from us only, so send us an e-mail if you are interested!

SEPTEMBER 2003

A new page called Special Friends has just been added to our website. It deals with bands we've collaborated with and who we feel tied to. We let you guess who we're referring to...

In the meantime, we keep on working on our new tracks.

JULY 2003

As communicated in our latest newsletter, last April we left Eibon records.

We're now working on new material for THE FROZEN AUTUMN next album, even though we don't know yet who's going to release it. We can say we're satisfied with our current recording sessions.

As you've probably noticed the Mp3 page has been deleted, it wasn't worth keeping it active anymore. In this occasion, we'd like to remind everyone that including online any of our songs in no matter what music file format without our explicit written permission is strictly prohibited, according to the EU copyright law, finally adopted also in Italy.

Another piece of news is that most of our releases are nearly sold-out: check out the Works page for details. Incidentally, don't try to find our releases at Eibon : we're sure they don't have any.
